Voltage is a pop up night club that provides a platform for local, emerging electronic talent and kicks back to charity in the process.
Voltage was founded and is promoted by DJ, Roukin. Roukin was inspired to create Voltage after writing and directing 'The Break,' a short film about a young DJ in New York.
Roukin began spinning house music in 1994 inside a garage in Southport, North West England. He was hooked by the early sounds of warehouse parties brought home by older brothers and weekly visits to Cream, Liverpool throughout the 90s. He now pushes a sound laced with punchy, groove- driven tech house and leanings towards techno.
